Circle Cafe Bar - A Brief History
The Circle Café Bar first opened its doors back in December 2002. It's conception came about from an idea that we got whilst on holiday in the South of France.
Here the cosy atmospheric bars/restaurants are a hive for family get togethers and friends meeting up for a drink and to socialise.
Location was the key to try and recreate this effect in Carlisle. The 18th century glass covered Lowther Arcade, which is sited in the historic Old Courts area of Carlisle's city centre was the perfect place for the Circle Café Bar to evolve into what it has become today.
Bare brick walls adorned with art by local artists, combine this with a Mediterranean colour scheme together creates a warm welcoming feel; add to this comfortable low, spacious seating makes you feel relaxed and at home.
A place where all are made to feel welcome.

Monday - 10.30am - 4.30pm
Tuesday to Thursday - 10.30am - Midnight
Friday & Saturday - 10.30am - 1am
Sunday - 11.30am - 11.30pm

Circle Café Bar is the perfect venue for private hire and functions. We can cater for wedding receptions, birthdays, christenings and get togethers.
We offer great rates on hot and cold buffets and outside catering is available on request.
